Discover
The first phase of our SEO program, the new client discovery, begins with a kickoff meeting. Here, we discuss your business goals, objectives, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate a seed list of keywords prior to doing our own research.
Research
Identifying keyword phrases used by your target consumer is the first step after project kickoff. In this phase, we’ll begin expanding on the seed list of keywords you provided during the discovery phase. Using a variety of tools, we’re able to determine relative search volume and apply formulas to calculate an approximate benefit to optimizing for each keyword.
After getting your approval on initial keyword research, it’s time to find out what your competitors are up to. After taking a look at your top 3 competitors, we’ll have a better idea on how we’re going to need to shape your SEO program.
Assess
A full-scale SEO audit is the primary tactic used in the Assessment phase. Here, we look at everything from the technical aspects of your website, to navigation and on-page elements. Completing an SEO audit will give us a good idea on what things we’ll need to change to increase organic traffic and drive conversions.
Resolve
In all honesty, we tend to dig up a lot of issues needing attention during the Assessment phase. Whether you host your site with another agency or in house, we’ll work with company stakeholders or third-party sources to ensure our insight and recommendations are implemented properly, in accordance with the SEO roadmap.
Measure
Counting the number of visits to your site simply isn’t enough in the ever-changing, analytics-based digital marketing industry. As a data-driven group of search marketers, we thrive on providing our clients metrics that matter – far beyond bounce rate, page views, and time on site.
Maintain
As we’ve mentioned time and time again, SEO is not a “once and done” project. It’s an ongoing iterative process where we work together to test and measure on-page tweaks and changes. During this phase, we also kick off the link building aspect of our SEO programs, which we consider the bread and butter of our organic search engine optimization.
